“Good One”

“Our stay in Fredericksburg was okay overall. The hotel is older but has received some light renovations that helped freshen it up. While the accommodations were comfortable enough, parts of the property still showed their age and could use additional updating. It worked well for a short stay, but there is room for improvement.”

“We showed up super late but they had an after hours box, so checkin was simple and we found our room easily. The room is okay. Nothing fancy. Everything is dated. The bed was more comfortable than expected. The bathroom looked clean enough but might not pass some people’s standards. The breakfast was our favorite part. The office area has a Texas homey vibe. The breakfast was thoughtful and had several options. Note - you do need to go up stairs to get to the breakfast area. They will……

“The staff was extremely helpful. They even took us for a tour around the property. Laura was very knowledgeable about the history and seasonal details about the hunting and lodging amenities. Property is very well maintained. Food and drinks were great. Would definitely consider returning.”

“Where to begin…..this hotel was just a pleasure for my senses. The building, the staff, check in, the close parking outside a locked gate, my beautiful room, the gardens everywhere, the patios outside each room, the dark wooden bar with the perfect mixologists, and then the restaurant (!!!) everyone was dressed as ladies and gentleman with the perfect demeanor. I’ll be back. I’m in love with this place. Nothing could have made our stay better. I could gush but you’ll just have to try it……
